Dallas vs Colorado
- weather not too bad at all for Toronto in mid November with current temps of 43 degrees, no rain, and just light wind. Colorado have never taken a point on this field while Dallas have never lost so mentally the edge goes to Dallas. Dallas just beat the top 2 teams in MLS but now installed as the favorite in the final while Colorado passed through an out-of-form Columbus team and the bottom playoff club, SJ. Both meetings this year saw Dallas lose leads and both matches ended in draw. To me the difference is the midfield where Dallas features the league's best player, Ferreira, and perhaps the most exciting player, Shea. Colorado do all their scoring from the Cummings/Casey partnership which is much easier to defend than tremendous midfielders. I also think we'll see some goals as Colorado scored in 8 straight away from Denver while Dallas has been shutout just once in 10 games. Incredibly, Dallas did not lose to a single non-playoff team all season and I can't ignore the way these teams have performed away from home. Colorado have won just 1 of 11 league road matches while Dallas have lost just 2 of 16 and those were at RSL and LA. Dallas' road defense is nearly a half goal better than Colorado's and they know how to win games, leading the league in 2nd half goals with 25. Dallas was #2 in MLS in total shots, #3 in shots allowed.

I'm going with Dallas in a higher scoring game with the player of the game going to Milton Rodriguez who was a handful in both matches vs Colorado this year. He had 7 shots in those two games and if he recovers from his groin strain in time I think he puts one past Pickens. If he can't go then watch for vet Cunningham to make a nice return to Toronto. The big worry about betting Dallas here is they just beat the two best teams in the league and might be a bit overconfident. That being said, I'll take the team with the better midfield, defense, and goalkeeping in a big game.

Will invest a little under 5u tonight

Enjoy!

Dallas pk 2u -143
Dallas over 2.25 goals 2u +100

well, as they head into extra time I'll finish up my stats. terrible match, btw, pathetic opening 25 minutes, awful ref, chippy play, nearly no creativity, and shea just failed to show up in the match. IMO, Dallas simply the superior team but the hardass, chippy play of Colorado was rewarded by Toledo all night as he was deathly afraid of pulling out a card.

crap game but most shocking was Shea's disappearing act for 64'

was a solid season...never ended an MLS season under 9% so kept that streak intact!
